The Ohmapi Nature Project is a lawfully formed PMA dedicated to providing nature-focused educational, recreational, social services to individuals of all ages as authorized by the Association Articles and Bylaws to its members. The following form explains this relationship and rights, benefits and responsibilities associated with membership. As a PMA, we are a Private Membership Association for the purpose of education that establishes its own operating guidelines and is not under the jurisdiction of the state, local, and federal government’s laws and regulations.
As a PMA/Association, membership is voluntary and we welcome all persons (irrespective of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, political position, medical condition, health status or disability and any other protected class) in our Association. Services are only offered to our members. We are independent and privately-funded (as opposed to a state-funded school) by our members. We are an FBO PMA. The Ohmapi Nature Project has a strongly-held belief in Nature and the Seventh Generation Principle as established by the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) which advocates that the decisions we make today should result in the care and preservation of the human body and our planet, seven generations into the future. As a FBO PMA our overall mission is based on sharing this principle and belief in nature.
