Girls Weekend Campout Adventure Near Pt. Reyes: August 23-26

$200.00

This camp is for girls…Mom’s and Daughters. Join us for 3 days of curated explorations from Friday 8/23 - Monday 8/26. Olema Campground will be our home base. We will spend our time exploring the Pt. Reyes peninsula and Tomales Bay. We will continue in the spirit of Ohmapi's mission to learn about nature while in nature, and we'll learn exclusively through play and exploration. We'll immerse ourselves in the beauty of the area by going on a private kayaking tour of Tomales Bay hoping to get a glimpse of the famous Tule elk, the mesmerizing moon jellies that bloom in late summer, as well as seals, sea lions, hawks, bald eagles, and maybe sea otters. We will go on a tour of the Pt. Reyes lighthouse and spend the rest of the day having a sand sculpture contest at Drake's Beach. We'll watch the sunset on the horizon, walk the shore at low tide looking for treasures, and learn about the art of storytelling around the campfire.
